Festival du Voyageur

This past weekend we went to experience the Festival du Voyageur, one of Canada's biggest winter festivals.  It was cold!  A number of students came out, though, to see the ice sculptures and experience some French-Canadian culture.

 

 

We will brave the weather again in a couple of weeks when we go ice skating at the Forks, and if anyone is looking for even more outdoor winter activity, you can go tobogganing at one of Winnipeg's many slides or tobogganing hills--a list of the main ones can be found here.
